Benicia Makerspace

Benicia Makerspace is a place where people from across the northeastern SF Bay area come together to learn, collaborate, invent, prototype and test new ideas using state of the art equipment. Our space is a community shop where individuals and entrepreneurs can make things, use shared equipment, learn new skills, and incubate new business ideas. Our goal is promote hands-on STEAM learning for all ages, by providing access to tools and training that are not commonly available for most people.

Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network

Dreamcatchers was created to provide vocational training services to people with disabilities who were reintegrating into the community with the personal goal of independence. The focus of our program is to provide services that help clients attain independence through successful employment. We provide assessments, job preparation, job placement and coaching to youth and adults with limitations and physical, mental or learning disabilities and youth transitioning into adulthood.

All participating nonprofits have demonstrated that they meet (or exceed) the eligibility criteria shown below.

  • A 501 (c) (3) organization in good standing with the IRS
  • A current NPP member with Solano Community Foundation
  • Headquartered in, or providing services to residents of Solano County
  • Has filed at least one annual tax form 990 (or N-990)
