Downtown Theatre Foundation for The Arts

The non-profit organization, Downtown Theatre Foundation for The Arts, was formed in 2012 in an effort to keep the Fairfield Center for Creative Arts open and available for the community performing arts groups. Downtown Theatre Foundation manages the facility through ticket sales, facility rentals, and most importantly, generous donations from the community. This foundation strives to provide a home for all performing arts groups, and the arts community members.

Peña Adobe Historical Society

The Peña Adobe Historical Society is the non-profit organization committed to preserving the oldest fully restored building in Solano County, the Peña Adobe, California Historic Landmark #534, National Historic Landmark #146 and the former home of the Peña family, one of the first families to settle here. The Society and has initiated restoration projects to preserve the Adobe, built in 1842 and conducts interpretive programs of Vacaville’s local heritage at no cost to the community.

Solano Community Symphony Association

The Solano Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1987 to provide the highest quality of live symphony music for the enjoyment, education, and promotion of the arts. It is primarily made up of skilled local musicians who support their community by sharing their valuable talents and passion for music. Maestro Semyon Lohss became the Music Director and Conductor in the 1992-1993 season, leading the orchestra to an ever-higher standard of excellence. The Symphony performs five concerts per year.

To facilitate and advocate for participation in the arts in Vallejo and throughout Solano County. We accomplish this by developing and providing educational programs, supporting and promoting local arts organizations, and participating in local and area arts events and projects.

Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum

The mission of the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum is to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of the City of Vallejo, Mare Island, and the surrounding region and to present exhibits and programs that explore and celebrate the diverse cultural traditions of the community. The Museum offers exhibits in 5 galleries, along with an extensive research library and community archives. The Museum also offers free class field trips to local schools and a variety of other public programs.

Young Artists Conservatory of Music

For 15 years, Young Artists Conservatory of Music has been music education and performing arts organization founded on the conviction that quality arts training provides the greatest means for personal development and social cohesion. YACM is a hub in Solano County for the most highly educated and experienced teaching artists. We offer, private lessons, band, orchestra, youth theater, and public school enrichment classes. Our Music for All initiative reaches underserved and at-risk populations.
