Description

Project K.I.K.S. (Kind Initiative Kids Shoes) serves impoverished youth residing in Napa  and Solano counties. We also serve the orphaned and homeless children in Monrovia, Liberia.  Operation KISS is an acronym for Kind Initiative Seniors Shoes, a program serving older Americans.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to "shoe the children and seniors without shoes on their feet." This includes providing shoes and socks to the poor and disadvantaged youth and seniors living in Napa, Fairfield, and Vallejo.  Internationally, Projects KIKS provides water, rice, and shoes to poor, homeless, and orphaned children and youth living in Liberia, West Africa .

Programs

Upcoming Project KIKS humanitarian mission to Liberia, West Africa in February 2019. 

Project KISS (Kind Initiative Senior Shoes) launched in 2018.  This program provides shoes to women veterans, spouses, and widows at Yountville veterans home.

Accomplishments

Donated 1,200 pairs of shoes and socks to youth residing in Solano and Napa counties.

Donated and installed eight 500-gallon poly tanks and 30,000 gallons of clean water to schools in Monrovia, Liberia.

In 2020, we held five different COVID-19 distribution events in Solano County for the elderly, veterans, homeless populations, and families in need.

Funding Goals

$1,500 for upcoming mission to Liberia.

$2,500 each for projects KIKS and KISS.
